From the Christmas cantata A Child This Day, this exuberant setting of the familiar Isaiah text makes an exciting Advent or Christmas call to worship anthem. The joyful 6/8 meter and majestic orchestration provide a wonderful impetus for the scripture passages, "Make straight in the desert a highway for our God!
