Just what I was looking for
Not being able to find a Bass that I liked anywhere on a shelf anywhere, I bought two Fender American II jazz basses. I took them apart down to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt them the way I wanted. I wasn’t able to find the just right pickguard for the Dark Night color scheme until I found the WD black abalone jazz bass bass pickguard on the Capital Music website. In addition to going well with my color scheme on the base, It fit perfectly, which is something that doesn’t happen very often when dealing with left handed accessories and hardware. I will be keeping Capital music in mind when I srart my next project.
