Tivoli Festival Overture
The Tivoli Festival Overture could be seen as a not-so-distant cousin to Hyldgaard's "Hans Christian Andersen Suite;" the famed Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen served as an inspirational source to the composer as much as it did to Andersen. Among his own melodic creations, Hyldgaard has included tiny glimpses of music history identified with the Gardens, including the Town Hall bells, heard every hour by visitors.
