Springtime

Set in an ABA form, this programmatic work begins in F major as the flowers bloom and trees bud, a sign that springtime has arrived. As the sky darkens, the work moves to F minor as the heavens open up and the rain falls on the Earth. With a return to F major the fresh scent of the rain and the sweet aroma of flowers reminds us of nature's great gifts. This delightful piece will be enjoyed and challenging for grade 3+ musicians.
