Scenes Revisited - for Wind Ensemble

Conceived as a concerto for wind ensemble, Scenes Revisited features the virtuostic and technical stamina of every section of the group. The composer describes the opening gesture as an "impenetrable, opaque wall of tragedy that one can neither hear nor see through." This counterbalances the later jazzy writing in the work. A spectacular addition to the wind ensemble repertoire. (18:30)
