On top of this, its spectrum profile editor lets you adjust each overtone for each note, bringing you thousands of sound combinations that will help you finding your own unique instrument.

Authentic Pedal Articulations

Pianoteq, being modeled (using laws of physics instead of pre-recorded sounds), can compute the sound for all 127 pedal positions that the standard MIDI protocol allows. Sampled pianos, however, cannot afford to record the sound for all single notes at each possible pedal position as the samples would require a massive amount of harddrive space.
