This guitar delivers(minus the strings)
If you’re looking for a solid-top, full-size electro-Spanish guitar with a cutaway, this guitar is probably the best deal out there right now. The Ortega Family Series Pro RCE131 Acoustic-Electric also comes with a nice gig bag, which I liked more than expected. It’s light and offers basic protection. Keep in mind that this guitar has a satin finish, which contributes to its rich and lively sound. However, it is more prone to scratches and other cosmetic damage. I love the wide neck, and the electronics work well for the price. The strings it comes with do not do the guitar justice—I was aware of that beforehand. For example, the D string broke after about half an hour. The guitar sounded much better as soon as I put on my usual La Bella strings. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase!
