Gre 12 In Gts With Lugs

Purchased this tom mount because the standard one for 12" Brooklyn's are so obtrusive and its difficult to clip mics for live shows. Found this mount and was excited because from everything that I read on several different sites, this should work with Brooklyn models. According to Drum Center of Portsmouth this works with everything except Catalinas. This installed perfectly fine with the existing drilled holes but when I went to go reinstall the drum head, the lugs will not tighten enough for the hoop to make contact with the head. Quite the bummer because now I have to continue my search for a tom mount that can work with my drum and allow for easier mic clip on.
