This video is for kids age 10 and up, for parents who want to do something fun with their kids, and for teachers who are looking for a music program that doesn't require any instruments. Cup drumming builds coordination, cooperation and connection, and it's great for parties, sleep-overs, retreats or camp. The video teaches 12 rock and pop rhythms step-by-step, and also shows how to do the pass, the slide, and the roll. It even introduces basic rhythmic concepts. Cup drumming can be done alone, in pairs, or in a group. And every lesson ends with a play-along section where the rhythms are played to real music.
