The Astatic GN18VP is a low-noise mini-gooseneck condenser microphone featuring our innovative VersaPattern™ technology, which allows for a continuously-variable polar pattern which can be precisely set for the best performance depending upon the application or environment. The wide, smooth frequency response characteristic provides natural, articulate and transparent sound. The GN18VP includes a solid center section with flexible goosenecks at the top and bottom. The top gooseneck is ¼” (6mm) in diameter and the bottom gooseneck is 19/32” (8mm) in diameter. The goosenecks are well-lubricated, silent in operation while maintaining strong positional memory. The overall length is 18 ¾” (47.6cm). The durable matte-black non-reflective paint assures an unobtrusive installation. Foam windscreen included. Standard P48 phantom power is required.
