Remo Emperor Clear heads produce bright, wide open sounds compared to the Coated Emperors. The 2-ply, 7-mil Mylar film construction provides consistently open tones.
The Crimplock profiled hoop design provides better tuning capability at higher tensions. The outer edge of the hoop is profiled over the glue channel, creating rigidity and higher strength.
