Active Snare Dampening System

On old snare drums you might find an internal dampening system that involved a disc being pushed up into the batter head. Those systems went out of style decades ago, but sometimes you still want to dampen the head! Remo's snare dampening system is similar to those old-style systems, except this one goes on the outside so it won't interfere with the internal physics of the drum. It attaches right to the hoop, letting you adjust both the amount of dampening and the location of the dampener - very useful for playing in different musical situations.
